Lucas B. Wilson, Lano Pranzo, and Carter Falkenstein are the jacks-of-all-trades who make up Fools of Fall. Wilson, Pranzo, and Falkenstein originally met while playing in a Latin band at the College of Southern Maryland. Fools of Fall was unofficially formed at the start of 2024 when an idea struck to perform at a student honors recital for fun. The group had regular practices to prepare for the recital and afterwards, they decided to keep making music together.
Lucas is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist residing in St. Mary's County, MD. He is the band's lead singer and primary lyricist as well as an active songwriter/composer. Lucas is also a formally educated audio engineer and is primarily responsible for the band's audio.
Lano Pranzo is an avid composer and multi-instrumentalist who specializes in drums/percussion for Fools of Fall, but also plays numerous other instruments. Lano performs with ensembles of various styles in the SoMD area including jazz, Latin, classical, old-time, and musical theatre. When not making music, Lano enjoys hiking, playing video games, and geeking out about nature.
Carter is not only Fools of Fall's primary bassist, but he is also an accomplished composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, occasionally playing guitar for the band. His composition/songwriting spans anywhere from acoustic songs for Fools of Fall to film scores and orchestral movements. Outside of music, Carter spends his time watching movies, playing video games, skiing, and being a nerd about Spider-Man.
